The Prime Minister announced on Monday 23rd March, that no one should leave their home unless absolutely necessary. There is still an expectation that schools will remain open to provide childcare for the children of Critical Workers and vulnerable pupils.

If you are a one Critical Worker family with other parental support, you should not send your children to school. If your child is a vulnerable child, you should seriously consider whether the benefits of continued school attendance outweighs your child’s safety, your family’s safety, school staff safety and the risk of the coronavirus spreading further.

"We have realized that we are on the same boat, all of us fragile and disoriented, but at the same time important and needed, all of us called to row together.. ..."    Pope Francis 27.3.20
